Whoever you are, JOIN US for a full day of food, drinks, friendly discussion, and lots of writing!

Book your spot, then come along at 11am, Saturday 8th January, at the beautiful Reliance pub in Shoreditch, in the private function room upstairs.

Spend a full day reading and talking about love and desire in literature. Then write a brand new piece of fiction, with new characters, using everything you've learned. 

We'll order teas, coffees. Then do some warm-up writing exercises. Then we'll settle in for a friendly, no-pressure writing workshop on the theme of love and desire in literature.

Please note that we'll be having a late lunch at 2:30pm approx. (included in the ticket price).

In terms of the workshop itself, don't worry, we'll walk you through everything, step-by-step, with carefully designed exercises, to help you think in new ways, from different angles, and to weave your own new piece of fiction. And you won't have to share or read out loud in front of the group (unless you feel like it!)

When we've got loads of writing done, we'll invite you to relax with a late afternoon drink in the pub (also included in the price).

If you haven't been to any of our sessions before, please feel completely free to join. We welcome everybody from every conceivable background, especially newcomers (only a small handful of the people in the class are likely to know each other - so there'll be new, friendly faces all around).

The session is led by an experienced host (Sean).

No pressure to read or share your work with the group.

And no experience of writing is necessary.
