Wake Up, Write! Membership
You’re warmly invited to join Wake Up, Write!
This is our monthly writing membership, beginning in 2026 on Monday, 5th January.
This membership is for you if you want to nurture your work, your writing, writing, creative practice, and yourself, your body and your mind, through a friendly, no-judgment, shared, gentle structure, held in compassionate community with others.
WHY A MEMBERSHIP?
This membership is for you if you sense that your writing or work doesn’t need more force, urgency, or self-surveillance, but rather a steady rhythm in which it, and you, can breathe again, amongst supportive community.

You are welcome to join us month by month, within a simple rhythm of quiet mornings, with meditation and dedicated shared focus time to work on whatever you wish, with (optional) sharing. You can also join a reflective evening session at the beginning of each month to set your intentions for the weeks ahead.

This is not a programme you need to complete. It’s a place you can return to, to feel connected, inspired, and quietly energised.

***We also welcome those of you from outside the writing domain***
You’re 100% welcome to join us if you’re doing anything remotely creative, and if you simply want to transform your relationship with time, self, and your creative work.
WHAT'S INVOLVED?

MORNING
FOCUS
Access 2 or 3 online morning sessions from 9 to 10:30 am (UK) each week, depending on your membership tier. Experience guided meditation followed by an hour shared quiet focus time to work on whatever you wish.

INTENTION
SETTING
On the first Monday of every month, you can join an online evening session with other community members. These facilitated spaces can help you reflect and set your intentions for the rest of the month.

COMMUNITY
CONNECTION
You'll be joining a group of fellow creatives each morning, as well as in our monthly evening session and a dedicated, facilitated WhatsApp group. You can ask for support, celebrate achievements, and share resources.
THE CORE RHYTHM
Morning Writing Spaces
9:00–10:30am | UK time (GMT) | Online (Zoom)
Weekly on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
You’re invited into a genuinely quiet, gentle morning space, arriving exactly as you are. Camera on or off. Microphone on or off. Tea or coffee in hand. Pet on lap (or not). No requirement to speak, explain, or be seen.

Each session unfolds in the same soft way:
-
A brief meditation or body-based settling. (*sometimes with gentle music, sometimes not)
-
A moment to set intention.
-
An hour (approx.) of quiet, focused writing (or other meaningful work).
-
Optional sharing at the end.

You might use this time for creative writing, academic work, life admin, career planning, or simply to sit with a piece of work that’s been waiting for you, in quiet contemplation.

What matters most is not output, but discovery and/or re-entry to the work.

In these sessions, writing and/or work-work often stops being overwhelming. Things become touchable again. Not through discipline, but because the shared field we create together genuinely soothes.

You’re working on your own thing. But you’re not doing it alone.
Evening Reflective Session
7:00–8:30pm | UK time (GMT) | Online (Zoom)
First Monday of every month

This session opens your month, helping you to reflect on the month just gone, and dream forward into the one about to come.

It’s a spacious, fun, welcoming evening where you can arrive fully and gently orient yourself toward what’s ahead.

There’s room here to:
-
Take stock of where you are (in life, or with your work)
-
Name intentions without shrinking or inflating them
-
Listen to others without comparison
-
Feel buoyed and cared for by the community

This isn’t a goal-setting workshop or a space where people have to perform.

Sharing is always optional.

The emphasis is on tone, pacing, and relational safety—on setting a shared rhythm that makes it easier for you to return to your work in the weeks that follow.

Many people experience this session as a quiet recalibration: a moment when writing becomes a place of refuge again.

Our first session will be on Monday, 5th Janaury 2026.
