About the Event

Hi there,

This is a full day workshop. Suitable for absolute beginners. No pressure to read your work aloud... ever!

If you're a poet (or would like to be!), please RSVP and come along to this full day event: Poetry of the City.

We will be meeting for breakfast, and teas/coffees, and looking at a selection of poems about London, New York, and Paris from Frank O'Hara, Ted Hughes, and Erika Meitner.

We'll be using these poems, and a series of writing prompts, to produce our own poetry.

By the end of the workshop, you will have three of your own poems, either complete, or to take home and edit.
