Hi there,

This is a MeetUp for writers and non-writers, alike.

It is a friendly writing workshop and social event.

Come in at 6:45pm; buy yourself a drink at the bar, then come and find us in the Talbot Room, and say hello to some other friendly faces, before we start the workshop at 7:00pm.

There will be FREE snacks - and a FREE Penguin book for each person to take home and keep.

The theme of this workshop will be RANDOMNESS and SPONTANEITY (if you've come to one of these workshops before, don't worry, they'll be new exercises, and if you haven't come before, don't worry, it is all suitable for absolute beginners)!

During the session you will be guided through a number of different writing games and prompts. By the end, you'll have a whole host of new, exciting bits of writing to be proud of.

If you want to make new friends, this event is for you.

If you want to make forays into a new, serious piece of writing, this event is for you.

If you want to have a beer and surprise yourself doing something fun and spontaneous, this event is for you!
