About the Event
Hi there ✨
Whoever you are, you're warmly invited to join us for a full-day playwriting workshop ✍️ with food & drink 🍴☕🍷, guest-hosted by Rachel Wagstaff, one of British theatre's most in-demand writers, whose adaptations include Birdsong, The Girl on the Train, Flowers for Mrs Harris and The Da Vinci Code 🎭
This is a complete one-off.
Rachel doesn't run workshops often, and when she does, she brings the same instincts she uses on a West End stage: how to build tension in a scene, how dialogue does the work exposition can't, how to know when a story is actually about to start.
The premise is simple: you're going to write a full, short play, start to finish, in a single day.
Not an outline. Not a fragment.
