Whoever you are, you're warmly invited to join us for a full-day writing workshop ✍️ with food & drink 🍴☕🍷, a pub quiz 🧠, and plenty of space to step outside the human view and see what else has something to say 🌳🦊🌊
Nature writing has a long tradition in literature and poetry. But what happens when we step into the frame ourselves, not as observers writing about what we see, but as nature? If we write as the tree, the fox, the river? And as humans who are a part of the natural world, rather than separate from it?
We'll be exploring a mixture of poetry and prose from writers including Jason Allen-Paisant, Mary Oliver, Irene Solà, Richard Powers, and Robert Macfarlane, discovering how different authors have given voice to nature through their writing, from animals to trees to even the weather, and how they've woven…
